76cs. The Brecon vineyard was planted by Art Norman in 1968 and sits on the North/East slope of Vineyard Drive, in the Willow Creek district. You realize at maceration that these are not typical Paso Cabernet grapes. The Sensibilities are more Pauillac than Willow Creek. The predominant fruit flavor is blackcurrant, sometimes veering into plum. Pencil-shavings and cigar-box. You can drink it now, but this wine won't reach its peak for a decade. Elevage: Three years 50% new French Oak.
